No one knows for sure where Jesus and the disciples had their last passover meal, known today as "The Last Supper," and the Gospel accounts provide few clues. Although the room pictured here cannot be the exact place, since it was built in the 12th century, scholars believe the location itself may be historically relevant.
This "upper room" is located directly above the reputed tomb of David, on Mount Zion.
