Charles Daubigny - The River Seine at Mantes

Charles Daubigny was an artist whom Vincent greatly admired.  He lived in Auvers-sur-Oise but died before van Gogh arrived there in May of 1890. 

This is an image of one of Daubigny's works - The River Seine at Mantes - which he painted, circa 1856.  It is currently owned by the Brooklyn Museum.
