Farm Foreclosures - Depression Era

Following the stock market crash of 1929, America's economy continued on a downward spiral.  Even farms were impacted as droughts and dustbowls slammed the Midwest.  This photo, from the U.S. National Archives, depicts a farm foreclosure, circa 1933.
