Katniss Everdeen - Shooting Her Bow and Arrow

As a Tribute, representing District 12 in the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen is required to kill her competition.  It is not easy for her to do that.  She is used to hunting prey for food - such as squirrels and birds - but she is not a killer of people.

At the age of 16, however, she will defend herself - and those with whom she is aligned during the games - when the need arises.
