Transylvania County - Frozen Waterfall
Parts of Transylvania County - in North Carolina - served as the arena where young Tributes fight each other to the death in the film version of The Hunger Games. Had the 74th games occurred in winter, this is the type of weather the Tributes would have had to endure. Cascading water, from Maiden Hair Falls, freezes in mid-air.
