Japanese-American Internment
MINIDOKALess well known than some of the other internment camps, Minidoka was located in an area of farms in southern Idaho.
Tule Lake, in northern California, became one of the most notorious internment camps of all. Ethnic Japanese, considered disloyal to the United States, were rounded up and sent to Tule Lake. Not surprisingly, there was unrest in the camp. |
