Jesus - Visits His Disciples

Duccio interprets one of the visits Jesus made to his disciples, following His resurrection. Surprising His friends, Jesus appeared ... even though the door was locked. Duccio painted this tempera on wood - entitled Appearance Behind Locked Doors - between 1308-11. It is currently maintained at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Siena, Italy.
