Triumphal Entry - Jean de Berry's Book of Hours
Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, which occurred less than a week before he died, is depicted in this illumination from Jean de Berry's Book of Hours (Les très belles heures de Notre-Dame).
The illumination on parchment, c. 1409, is now owned by a museum (the Museo Civico d'Arte Antica, Palazzo Madama) in Turin, Italy.
